I always love to experiment with new dishes and ingredients. Royal red shrimp pasta recipe is one of our recent experiments. Trust me; the taste was awesome. The flavor of shrimp becomes so heavenly when it is combined with pasta.

Some other ingredients like garlic, ginger, tomatoes, black pepper, chili flakes, salt were already stored in my kitchen cabinet. Oh I forgot to mention about the lemon and mint leaves. I bought them this morning from our local market.
I won’t deny, cooking is an art. In fact, it’s a better art than many other things. Because it’s all about creativity. The art lies in your ability to mixture the right ingredients in the right amount at the right time. However, making this recipe is pretty much straightforward.
Let me show you how. First of all, you need to put some oil in a nonstick pan. Now, it’s time to start adding the ingredients. I always prefer starting with garlic and ginger. Oh, I love that smell. In fact, the smell comes after a few seconds of frying them.
Now, you must add other side ingredients like tomato, chili flakes and evn the black pepper. Make sure that you have chopped the tomatoes properly. Can you feel the smell now? If so, uncover it to put the shrimps into it. Add salt as per your taste.
Try to cook the mixture for at least 8 minutes. You can listen to one or two of your favorite music by this time. I always do that whenever I get time. It helps me to calm my mind. After that, add pasta to the fried shrimp.
If you want to make this dish even more flavorful, you can simply add lemon zest and juice. Now, cook for another five minutes to make it a perfect dish. I know some of you may not like extra sourness. If so, simply skip adding lemons in your dish.

Royal Red Shrimp Pasta Recipe
- Non-stick pan

- 1 pound royal red shrimp skin peeled
- 1 pound whole wheat pasta boiled
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp ginger minced
- 2 large tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- salt as per taste
- lemon zest
- lemon juice
- 2 tsp olive oil
- mint leaves
- Non-stick pan is important for making this recipe. Take some oil in the pan. Now, add garlic and ginger and fry them for a few seconds. Add chopped tomato, black pepper and chili flakes to the pan. Cover it for 3 to 4 minutes. After that uncover it and put shrimp into it. Don’t forget to add salt into the pan. Cook it for 8 minutes.
- Now, you can uncover the shrimp fry and add pasta on it. You can add lemon zest and juice for extra flavor. Cook for another 5 minutes. You can uncover it and the dish will be ready to serve.
- You can add some lemon, tomato or mint leaves to decorate it.
- You can skip lemon zest or lemon juice if you don’t like extra sourness
